The American Immigration Lawyers Association has received reports of a new telephone scam potentially victimizing aliens. Anyone who receives such a call should notify law enforcement authorities, which may include the FBI, as well as the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection, whose Consumer Sentinel database is accessed by criminal and civil law enforcement authorities worldwide.
